Good News!

Good News Everyone!

We received our second extension from the CCAA today, February 25. Officially we have until May 17, but that date won't be necessary. After I sent the copy of the I800A approval letter to my adoption coordinator, she said that she needed to certify and authenticate it. I'm not quite sure what that means. For those of you BTDT parents who may be reading my blog, please post and let me know what that means, and perhaps more importantly, how long will that take? We were hoping that our dossier would be sent to China next week.... Maybe not, now....? I don't know.

But we are moving right along, and it does feel like things have speeded up for us a bit. Let's hope this is a continuing trend. Thank you everyone for your support and best wishes.

  1. Did you get the "Great Seal" of (Whatever state you live in) on your dossier documents? That is the "authentication" I believe it can only be done in the state capital. Your agency should be available to answer any questions. Beth
